‘The Avengers’ Surprise Villain Revealed….(MAJOR SPOILER)

…..that little blurb has led several websites to conclude that Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) is in fact a secondary villain in The Avengers movie – working alongside Thor’s evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), who has been openly touted as the primary antagonist. It has long been speculated that The Avengers would boast more than one villain, but up until now, most of that speculation has been focused on extraterrestrial threats like The Skrulls or The Kree, or even cosmic tyrant Thanos. The Avengers teaser trailer and some spoilerish set photos only further implied that the superhero team would indeed be facing a threat from the stars.
